    Hello every one,

I'm new to the forum so hello. I collect UK and US and I bought this 1882 quite worn sheild nickel last week for £3 at an antiques fair. Its got an odd end to the date but because its so worn it hard to tell why. I've looked in the cherry pickers guide and still cant work it out so what do you think?

It's common to see the 2 filled like that, I have several of this date and they're all filled.

Ok cool. I dont see many Older Nickels here in the U.K so I thought I'd check, so I can label it correctly in my collection. Thanks
