I also am not aware of any changes in staff last summer. The OP is actually asking a two part question. Not everyone who has had coins graded recently could tell if there is any difference in grading.
I haven't heard that either. I just don't see a company like ANACS cleaning house and re-hiring new people. And even of they wanted to, this transition takes months to progress due to training and all that.
Well, I read that they had a turnover in staff around June. It's entirely possible that I had the year wrong.
I have a morgan vam being graded at anacs as I type this, due back on the 15th (maybe ) will post when it arrives
I've sent them roughly 60 coins since July, everything has come back right on par. Even sent in a couple of PCGS PF69's commemoratives and had them come back 68. Not a huge deal, but shows they're really payin attention to details these days.
i hope it catches on because in my opinion grading has fallen from like the 90's.if you have an older graded coin i would suggest getting it graded again and will probably get a grade point or 2.
I'm just wondering, but why would you send two 69s in to ANACS? I have a feeling that a PCGS 69 would still have higher marketability than an ANACS 70.
All my Comems are in Anacs holders. For collection uniformity I prefer them that way. If theres one I need that's allready been graded by another company and the price is right, i'll buy it, crack it, and send it.
