I Think i "stole" this one for ... lets call it $20 (close enough anyway) what are your thoughts? BTW It's all you guys fault, I seem to be hooked on large cents now lol.
Sellers Picks btw I should have it in hand in a day or 3 I'd call it Vg-F but this is only my 2nd large cent so not very sure of myself yet :D

And maybe not stolen but at least decent value for my bucks :D

Nice score! I'd do $20 for it easy, love those old coppers.

I gonna catch heck again this month if my woman finds out I spent $20 on a penny again. (she doesn't object to anything but my pennies lol)

I knew that was coming. I thought it myself right after I posted (can't edit titles it seems)

Bump... Still hoping for some grade opinions on this. As mentioned I was thinking vg-f range. Hoping some of the more knowledgeable members can give in a number grade.

I'll guess VG-8 but can't tell what is covering part of the word LIBERTY.

I call it an F-15. Nice copper.

Nice example for what you paid for it. I expect it to show up in the 62 Days of Large Cents thread ;)

As above: something is covering part of Liberty. If this is organic gum or old wax it can be removed with an organic solvent. If encrustation, then that will limit the grade to a 'problem piece'. My old, hardback photograde says for VF the haircords must show plainly: which your specimen has. However the reverse seems a bit rough and there appears to be 2 small rim dings rev. However I'm really not a US collector.

Looks like it has some "Fine" details, but what's that glob of somethin' over "RTY" on Bust's headband?

Hope it's not a plug, because that's almost what it appears to be...

EDIT: Just read Gallienus's post above. :p
