I was just searching some change and found these. I'm quite sure it's post mint damage but I just want to make sure they're not some unusual error. 1965 quarter with dent: 1985 penny with rolled edge: If they're damage, then how do you think they occurred? The quarter looks like a screwdriver was driven into it or something. But the texture inside the dent and the minimal damage on the reverse makes me wonder.
Both are post-mint damaged (PMD). The cent looks like a dryer coin, and the quarter looks like it was hit hard with a screwdriver. EDIT: Just noticed you mentioned the screwdriver theory.
