i am trying to get him to the next lvl now so i can enjoy the results.i want them to learn about coins as someday i will give them to them, but only if they have a good understanding.one of my 2 daughters is also interrested.

That sounds great! Start them young, odds are their interest will fade in their teen years, but then should come back in their mid twenties or so. However, if you cultivate a strong appreciation for the coins and their history now, they may be numismatists for life. Chances are greater too if it is a family interest. Good luck! :smile

thanks but they are past teens lol,but i have told them that i won't give the collection to them unless they have a strong interrest and a firm understanding of the hobby.i have a vault in my house and everytime i fill a safe about the size of a printer i lock it and put it in my bigger safe.i know have 15 safes put up and when i show them some of the stuff i think it reinforces in them how important this could be to them.
