If you start an 1837 holed set, I can help. BTW, I'm told that in the 19th Century, farmers and mechanics drilled holes into large cents and used them as washers, much cheaper than buying them at the hardware/general store...
That's hard to imagine, but I can certainly imagine that it would've been more convenient than heading into town to buy one...

I've heard that they would put a nail through them and "hang" them on doors as a good luck charm from one dealer, and another said "...pockets were crap in those days!" so I guess we'll never know...
