Lamination error ?

    I found this today. Is it a lamination error and if so, what kind of value would it have ?

    looks PMD but could be a dye crack

    The pic does not do it justice but its clear close up that the damage was done before or at the time on minting. The image and jacket creases go over the cracks and are continuous.

    Yes, it appears to be lamination.
    They don't command much of a premium, perhaps a buck or two depending on condition.

    Look at it this way, at a price of $2 that's 200,000% over face value.
