Walking Liberty Question, Grade/Worth

    I'm trying to see what price range this coin is and if its really worth the $35 the selling price.

    Maybe it's just the pic, but it looks like a polished xf/au. I'd want to pay close to melt for it, maybe a couple dollars premium over.

    It's worth around 10 dollars for the silver value. It looks like it has been cleaned or polished decreasing the value

    Hmm, the guy says it hasn't been cleaned. Of course he could be just lying. lol.

    Can't disagree but have seen them in that condition bought for more. OP, IMO I would not pay $35 for that coin.

    I see those regularly at LCS for under $15.

    I don't blame you... that's at least twice the value of this coin. There's plenty on eBay in the $17 to $19 price range (in that grade).

    Yeah, I kinda like the color and appearance, but it is no better than a low to mid AU and as stated, worth no more than half of the asking price. You can get a solid MS for 35-40 bucks.

    Looks like an AU that might have been cleaned, though the cleaned aspect may be due to lighting. Regardless, it would be worth strictly melt to me.
