Don't worry folks, even though I "purchased" the item, I did not pay for it. I knew that a draped bust in that condition for under 100 was way too good to be true.

It looks like this seller stole some photos from another auctioneer. Look at the following auctions and you can figure it out.

Second tell tale mark is that this seller has feedback all 1-2 days old and all from purchasing 1 cent items.

I'd make sure you reported him to eBay because he has several more coins up for sale.

 

After seeing that...

He more than likely wouldn't of sent you anything at all.

 

I have to ask though, why did you bid on it with the intent of not paying?

 

clearly so that another person, who doesn't have the knowledge or doesn't check feedback doesn't buy it and pay for it... and then doesn't receive the item
it's basically doing everyone else a favor
if you check his feedback, all cheap items and this is his first sale and he is selling something with pictures from another seller, for much cheaper, it makes you know 101% sure that it is a scam

 

I bought it so someone else wouldn't get ripped off.

 

Zaneman - What if he leaves you negative feedback? Will E*Bay delete it off there? Dang you guys are GOOD!!! For exposing this junk. Is it true though if you pay by PayPal, at least if he doesn't send the coin then you can cancel the transaction?

I tried the second website "www.ebayersthatsuck.com" and
1. It needs one to establish an account to enter it, and
2. To view stories, one has to give them one's Ebay account name and password, which is not generally a good idea.

Also that website takes a long time to load with a dialup connection.

Paypal would work, but his auctions say:

"I accept the following forms of payment:
1.western union 2.Bank transfer 3.Money Order"

A scam for sure, as I suspect all his coins to be. Now to find the original auctions...

the evidence is quite clear!

I recommend everyone report this guy so that he is banned and these auctions cancelled before Monday when these buyers will be sending their money orders out. Here is the form:

basically, I have found that he stole ALL of his photos from apogeellc or youngjim49. I see that at least a few of the closed items were bought by a guy named "nubilover" so at least some of them weren't bought in good faith, hopefully no one actually send this con artist any money.
