    Good morning y´all :)

This one came to me the other day and it looks like it was a proof. The 1889 is not listed in Krause as proof but I know kruase and they are often missing information on coins.

I´m not sure if it is an old proof but it sure looks like it the second photos of the coin higlights " Burns " the reflection or what is left of it on the coin.

Btw this is what would be considered a sheeps gold in Iceland thus the heavy circulation.

I can find no listing in Spink for an '89 Proof.

I have found that some Soverigns from that period do come PL.

Would either of you have any idea where I could see some refrance on proof sovereigns ? They should have some carecteristics that I could check on mine.

I´m pretty sure it´s PL but I would like to be sure. And it´s always a learning process when something like this comes up.

Never mind they were frosted proofs at the time and there is no indication of any frosting left on the coin.
