My suspicion is AU but anything goes when it comes to grading Ikes, nice coin either way. Finding attractive Ikes is not easy, I love the toning....

That Franklin half is indeed a lovely coin.

Me too, here look in what condition the package arrived! It's still a mystery to me how the customs office in Dresden was responsible for the processing.

For others that intend to send something to Germany, three weeks with normal international delivery must be expected.

    bsowa1029 Franklin Half Addict

Just won this beauty on eBay.
Colors like these are very hard to find on a 1950-D, so when I saw this one I had to have it.

I'm just hoping those two finger prints on the obverse aren't as noticable in hand as they are in one of those pictures.

Thanks to the separate plastic bags for the coins luckily not, they arrived without damage. It just shows to make sure that all coins are safely protected even if the outer packaging fails.

Thanks! I took 3 laps of the floor before getting enough gahoonahs to buy it. I'm very, very pleased with it though.

Back from Robec: 1964 (Toned) Proof. Under indirect lighting (pictured below), the coin appears to exhibit rainbow colors and deep shades of green on the reverse (and sports some nice cameo contrast!). However, under direct light the obverse appears pink and yellow while the reverse is a smooth shade of hot pink.

Unbelievable coin Morgandude! Why wasn't that coin given NGC's star designation? I'm not a huge fan of the crescent toning that you see on a lot of Morgans, so its nice to see one like yours.

I just picked this up a couple days ago. I like the even-dark look on it.

Also got a grab bag of 4 pcgs slabs for $25. I got
    1962-d ms64rd 1c
    1962-p ms65rd 1c
    1962-p pr67 10c
1962-d MS66 10c (with ugly splotchy yellow toning)
not bad for $25 since pcgs says the 2nd penny is worth $27 all by itself

Nah! That toning pattern is very very common in Morgans. Also, NGC thinks it is real, and I trust them. :)
