Mexican error coin

What would be the term to describe this type of error? This coin was in almost uncirculated condition, so I was kind of disappointed to see the error because I'm not an error collector. Still, it's a curiosity so I was wondering what I would call this.

That is a "cud", that means part of the die broke away leaving a void.
