I've been dumfounded about this coin ever since i've received it. On the Obverse there is a raised design of William Penn, with the word PENNSYLVANIA to the left of his bust and WILLIAM PENN to the right of his bust. There are also (in very small letter) words under the bust of Penn reading: RALFH - J - MENCOM (copyright logo) 1962 - SAM. On the reverse there is a raised design of Pennsylvania seal surrounded by the words SEAL OF THE STATE OF PENNSYLVANIA. And finally on the side of the coin under the bust it reads: MEDALLICANTCON (very small letters and almost impossible to read, I don't even know if that is right). I've tried searching for the coin online and came up with no results. If you have any background knowledge about the coin it will be greatly appreciated if you can shed some light upon this thread.

This company made a lot of raised relief medals back in the '60's & '70's. I always thought it was great workmanship. I have about 1/2 of the Presidential Collection packed away somewhere.

I think that they are neat too. It's just something else to add to my collection.

These medals are very cool, and not very expensive at all. I saw an entire run of the Presidential medals posted on eBay about 9 months ago. They were listed individually and most went in the $7-$10 range each. Very affordable and very cool items. :thumb:
