I have 3 different orders for the 3 piece gold set, I just noticed that 2 of them say "backordered ship on 9/27/2006". Anyone else got an early date on their order or you think this is an error?
I too ordered the 3 coin AGE set after the sellout was announced. My order status has changed 3 times (expected to ship on 9/20 to 9/27 to 9/29). I just got off the phone with a Mint rep and he says that the screen he is looking at shows a shipping date in mid Oct. Said he had no idea as to what I am talking about. It is interesting that the reps apparently see a different screen that users who log into the web site.
I also ordered AGE sets. First order I placed at 12:25 the day they went on sale and it says order in process expected ship date 10/6. When I found out they sold out on thursday I placed another order on the stand by list. That order says in process expeted ship date 9/26. I guess its best to order after a sell out.
I looked today and the date changed again (10/1). Guess I will quit looking for awhile and check later in the month.
