You could put them on ebay (or sell on CT) and make maybe 5 cents per coin. Or dump em, if it's not worth the hassle to you.

Box of Nickels: No war nickels and very few pre-1960 nickels. But I did find four 2009-D nickels. I think I've found maybe 2-3 in my life before this box. However, I'd much rather find four Wars.

 

Thanks for the feedback Lon! I think that I'll probably keep a roll of each and dump the rest.

What is this I see occasionally posted about bags? Are these in rolls or loose, or what, and do you get them from the tellers?

Anyway, today's results:

$5 Pennies: 87 copper, 1 canadian, 1945P, 1946S, 1952S wheats, uncirculated 1964D.

$14 Nickels: 1946D, 1946P.

$15 Dimes: Skunk.

$410 Quarters: Skunk.

$170 Half dollars: NIFC 2009D, NIFC 2010D hole filler.

 

October totals: 28 boxes of halves and 36-40%, 11-90% and 3 roosies found.

 

simpsonfan: In areas with coin machines you can sometimes buy the bag of whatever denomination off the machine (or have them call you to pick it up when it's full).

Box of quarters: Nothing
$40 CWR quarters: Nothing
$3.50 loose halves: Nothing
$25 CWR small dollars: Nothing interesting
Three boxes of halves: One 40% and one 1917 S Walking Liberty! Probably AG3, maybe G4. And, of course, since I mentioned that I had never found a clad commemorative half, guess what showed up today:


You know I haven't found any Peace dollars or quarter Eagles, either?

 

Just finished sorting through 2 boxes of nickels and two boxes of dimes. I found a few nice nickels in higher grades, some errors and pmd coins, three roosies, two mercs, and 49 rolls of uncirculated 2012-D dimes. It was nice to see some silver again!

now that you mention it, havent found any morgans, peaces, mercs,barbers, slq's or any silver from hunting halves

I stopped by the bank yesterday and grabbed a bunch of small dollars.
Anyway, found some nice SBA's, which you can see here.
But this was also there. Someone decided to spend their painted Sac! lol

 

I got lucky finding a beater Barber quarter in a $500 box last month. And found a nice VF Barber dime in a coinstar reject tray last year.

 

My bf brought me home my first BOX of pennies yesterday. WOOOO WHOOOO!!! super excited and was up most the night searching seperating and kinda organizing, but still gotta find the best way to catagorize all these many many pennys i now have infront of me. So far found 3 canadian queen pennies and oldest penny so far is a 1942 or 1943 wheat penny. Good times are rollin' in. LOL

 

in regards to coin machine bags., how do i get in on that or who do i call ? ty?
