The coin is a taler of Holy Roman Emperor Rudolf II of Austria. In that condition value would be about $200 - $250.

It is actually a thaler from Hungary, which was part of the Habsburg Empire. Letters KB on reverse stand for Kremnitz (Kormoczbanya) mint.

A user from an Estonian forum told me that the year is actually 1592. I hadn't noticed that earlier i thought that this was a seven. Does it make this coin any cheaper or more expensive?

Andrey is correct, I wasn't implying the coin was from Austria in my post but I can see where it might have been taken that way. But to answer your question, in this case no the date makes no difference in value.

Anyone can price their coins as high as they want. The problem is if there are buyers at that price.

Yes condition does make that much difference. This coin is also a better date and from a different mint than yours. But even at that, it is still over priced. Recent auction prices for the same coin, same date, same mint, same condition are around $1200.

Regardless of that, I doubt this coin will sell. It looks like it has been tooled to me.
