It is not bad place to shop but at times i do find their listing UI a little confusing.

Teletrade has a bit of a reputation of being a dumping-grounds for low-quality or "lower-end for the grade" examples of coins. I think that reputation 2-3 years ago was deserved. But, I think they are more selective in the coins they accept for sell now. They do still list a lot of low-quality fluff, but their high-end coins tend to end up in their Sunday and Monday auctions.

I will say that the selection of World coins has improved a lot over the past year. I have purchased around 10 world coins from Teletrade in the past 12 months, and I have been pleased with all of them. Granted, I have not purchased any world bullion issues (which is what you have mentioned above). One note, do make sure you view the obverse and reverse large images, and learn to interpret their images as being a bit "washed out" because they over diffuse their lighting. There are certainly some bargains to be found, you just have to be patient and know what you are looking for.

I like Teletrade but there are some issues with it.

For reasons not known, they do not list a good selection of coins on their Tuesday "no buyers premium" auctions.

They have a BP of 15%, now imagine you want a $8,000 coin on their non-tue auction, you would pay an additional $1200 for that coin. I really think that the BP should be TIERED, 15% on $8,000 is very high.

Sometimes if they have a lot of people bidding, their servers can lag. I almost lost an auction last night because it took over 80 seconds for my bid to go in.

What I do like about them is that they often have a MUCH bigger selection on seated and capped bust coinage, which eBay is rather dry on right now.

They take very good photos of coins.
