Heck, if nuclear war erupts, the numismatic premium on everything we have will be burned away with us... Food can collecting may be the way to go...
"Another method is to wrap a cardboard box in... aluminum foil." Wait a minute - we need that aluminum foil to make helmets.
no - you would need to sandbag the walls. Look, if your right under a bomb, in the urban areas, then not much can help you. Not even Doug. But the government doesn't care about urban areas anyway. If your in the perfered zones, like the suburbs, with a few precautions you can both save your coins and be rid of the urban areas.
Neat, but I still like my ducks to glow in the dark, easier to find them in that way !!! :foot-mouth:
Oh I forgot that part about holding your arms over your head just in case the concrete ceiling falls on the desk. Now how am I suppose to clutch my coins doing that? You know what that kid's thinking? "Maybe they should watch reefer madness."
I care. Its not that anything going on here will reshape the world as we know it, will it Frank. Some just get wrapped up in their own self importance, and lose any kind of perspective.
He lives in a preferred location, so for Frank it doesn't matter that much. If NYC is nuked, Franks coins are perfectly safe out in Suffolk County.
First, and foremost, you would need protection from the blast and fallout. Once that is accomplished, then all else in order of supplies, then coins (assuming you still want them after a nuclear war).
