Hoping you guys can tell me if I have a coin that's worth a lot, and a estimated value of the collection... Appreciate the help guys -- luckily they are all graded for me already! Going to start posting them in a moment, thanks!

So far the best ones I've found --

    1922-S XF silver dollar

Sorry this is the best quality cam I got at the moment... Don't know if you can see the slight discoloration on parts of my 96 silver eagle... How much would ya say this is worth?

No added premium for this. Just bullion value.

The melt value of the silver eagle is whatever the current spot price is or I think right now would be about $32.50 but like they said, the 1996 do sell for a nice premium

Hrmmm, you have a similiar photo style to one of our newfound friends:

    eBay Photo.jpg

Which is a good thing, because her auction still has a couple of days left and we've already bid her auction up to $11.00 for a coin that is probably worth $0.20, just because we like the photo. :D

Anyway, just a couple of tips:

The Silver Eagles are usually worth a few dollars over melt, except for the 1996, which is worth a bit more to some people. To me, they're all bullion coins, but some people are willing to pay more for the key dates.

You might want to invest in a pair of cotton gloves. You're probably looking to sell these, so you might not care, but when you handle an ASE without gloves, it will develop black spots after a few years where you touched it, even on the edges. I have a few older ones that I bought that have such marks and they are quite unsightly. Yes, I know I just finished saying they're just bullion coins, but I like mine either blast white, or naturally toned...

ETA: Drat! Detecto beat me to it on the photo...

    lolol, no relation :]

And yeah I'm selling half of them off so I doubt gloves will be necessary... Especially since I only pulled them out to take the pics ;]

I'm meeting up with a collector later today -- Any tips on selling in terms of gettin the most bang for my buck? Going to keep just a few, the two silver dollars in particular, to sell individually... But I'm gunna sell off all my coins worth $3 or more... Which is everything laying in front of those two boxes

you could probably get more bang for your buck if you piece the collection out and sell each coin individually
