From the front page of USA Today on today's (8/5/04) front page under USA Today Snapshots...

The polling question was asked: Do you favor abolishing the penny?

    59% - No
    23% - Yes
    18% - Not Sure

Source: Harris Interactive poll of 2,136 adults taken June 10 - 16th.

I have an issue with the 18% that stated "not sure" because they can't formulate enough brain cells to answer a simple polling question like this.

But then again, these are the same morons that will vote this November.

If people are so upset with all of the cents they are hoarding, they should donate them to their favorite charity or take them to their closest Coinstar machine...or send them to me!

The 18% probably "dont care" instead of "not sure". This is a silly thing to poll about. If the penny were abolished, no one would miss it after a couple years. The Gov't just needs to have the nerve to do it. I'll bet a comparable poll in 1857 favored keeping the Half Cent!! :D

BTW, I think you spelled "moron" wrong.
