couple days ago i mentioned in the forum about a purchase i made and many suspected that the coin had been cleaned. the coin has now been posted to me and below are much better pictures of it to decide its provenance. i pyrchased this coin in good faith but if it has been cleaned cannot bring myself to resale without mentioning this.these are the best pictures my scanner can do . I would appreciate some help with this thamks in advance.
I don't think anyone can be confident about an opinion on cleaning from those pictures. You need to go into Photoshop, or whatever editing program you use, and increase the size of the pictures. You may have to retake them in a higher resolution, as a large fuzzy shot wouldn't help much on the question at hand.
well i just cant seem to get a better picture sorry. i put it under a light and moved it around ect and there are on scratches and liberty /hair ect is sharp.Im begining to think that it hasint been cleaned at all.looks in au condition or even mint
Well, If you honestly believe it has not been cleaned, and you have not cleaned it yourself, then sell it with a 10 day or so return privledge. If whoever you sell it to thinks its cleaned, then he/she can return, no harm, no foul.
