Really nice red color, flow lines, and broad cartwheels. A real looker!

1997 - The only 97 pic I have is of a rotated, capped die error that I conserved for a young collector who found it.

1998....time to join back in. This is my 98-S close AM proof. In the close/wide series this is the 3rd rarest. My dealer submitted and NGC missed the attribution. He claims he put the variety type on the submission form, but I think he messed up. Oh well, it's EASY to see what it is.

1998D - Love this coin, it's a stunner in hand.

Here's one I found while searching my friend's 30 year old GIANT change stash. One of the best times I've ever had searching quantities of coins....I found some amazing stuff. He was happy to finally get rid of it all. I still have some huge bottles of coins left to search sitting at his house. After searching and dumping at the bank for 2 years I kind of ran out of gas. The good thing, he separated all his coins left in his pocket at the end of the day by demomination. I really only enjoyed searching the cents, the rest of it was quite painful for me. I had serveral jars of nickels sitting at my house of months. LOL

I've found a lot of 1998 WAM's over the years. Here's a couple. Sadly, I don't have pics of my best MS red 98 WAM's.

I have got to ask. About how many cents, on average, does one need to search to find a 1998 WAM?

A bit late to the party but here's my 1954-d, one of many roll finds:

Well, it's tougher to search bank boxes here on the west coast and try to find 98-99 and 2000 WAMs. I've tried and got lucky finding a 2000 after searching about $1200 in cents. It was in bad shape. It's easier to find these back east where more Philadelphia coins are found.

Ok, I don't feel bad not finding one after only $50 of roll searching.
