This is an attractive Walking Liberty half in an older PCI slab with the green border they used at the time to denote problem-free coins. They described it as 95% white with a weak strike. It has some nice subtle toning. Numista page Numismedia FMV priceguide page .
This is about to be one of the prize options in my upcoming Giveaway #84. I will add a link once the contest has been launched. Edit: Enter the contest on this thread. Please be sure to read the instructions before you post. (Don't worry, they're easy.)
Mine too. I thought about adding this to my own collection. Had it been in PCGS or NGC plastic, I would have. I really want an MS66, though. This one came in a swap from @Paddy54.

PCI is listed as a grader to stay away from. They primarily sale on eBay among other sites. Buyer beware! @lordmarcovan
I didn’t buy it and I didn’t submit it. I’m giving it away. See links above. Nobody is gonna care about what kind of holder it’s in, since it will be free for them. And for the record, my best cherrypick came out of an old PCI green label slab. It was a 1904 $20 Liberty. PCI MS62, as I recall. I cracked it out and submitted it to PCGS, from whom it came back PCGS MS64. So yeah, despite PCI’s third-tier reputation, sometimes they undergraded them. I netted about $1K in profit from that crackout and resubmission when I flipped that double-eagle in the new PCGS plastic. Old PCI green-label coins can be an opportunity sometimes, IF you know what you’re doing.
That would do nicely. I’ll find one. Haven’t been looking very hard. The mint doesn’t matter to me, as long as it’s a ‘44. Alternately (and more expensively), I’ve thought about getting a 1938-D, since that’s my father’s birthyear. But I wouldn’t expect to be able to afford one of those in 66.
I want to enter the contest please. I would love to have this Walking Liberty. I have a 2019 1oz silver dollar, turns out it isn't real so having this beautiful coin would be awesome!
If a buyer knows what they are doing there are treasures to be found in these old green holders. However the slab is just an invitation to me to see what others have over looked. I have literally found thousands of dolars in variety coins in these slabs....and are also known to tone coins for those who like color on their coins. I always scope out holders as such...as a picker its a payday 9 times out of 10
