Hello, I have another nickel, its a 1969-S. Both side have odd marks. On the face, in front and behind Jefferson's head below Trust and below Liberty are dents of a sort than almost match the shape of the edge of his face and back of his head. on the reverse across the whole top of Monticello the metal appeared slightly raised, not clean struck like the rest of the surface, also, on the right side of monticello (as you face it) the raised area extends out and on the left side same view point there is a raised area also extending out, both like points. None of the marks match the opposite side. Im sorry if this is badly worded, but i couldnt describe it better. Below is the best image i could get, its not good, but it outlines where the risen areas show, look hard, the camera didnt do well, but they are clearly seen on the coin.
