I do my best and many times when you do that, you sacrifice the financial end. However, I am saving up for a 95 Accord.
My sister is an attorney for the New Orleans battered womens shelter, she does okay, but not nearly as well as some of my other personal injury type lawyer friends. She believes in what she does, and to her, that is payment enough. If it makes you feel any better, someone already out bid me. I may have to adjust the scope on my sniper rifle.
I was the one that outbid you (for the fun of it). It has its ups and downs being an attorney, but somewhat like your sister, when I can give the average joe a bang for their buck that they could not get elsewhere, and they appreciate it, I feel good about what I do. PS Once they get to know me and my work, any reservations they may have had about me because of my car are dispelled.
One of "their" other listings is kind of amusing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/us-canadian-coins-/321009596919?pt=US_Canadian_Coins&hash=item4abda9b9f7 Note the lack of DENOMINATIONS...
Got a good chuckle out of this one. Thanks for sharing. If it weren't for Lonegun and Kirkuleez, I wonder if this coin would have sold at all?
Someone else had the nerve to bid on our auction, we can't let them get away with that. Does anybody have any idea what that coin is worth?
I would say it's worth atleast 10 cents. I don't really see why it is fetching seven dollars with four days to go, but then again I don't collect foreign coins.
I am going to ponder this matter. This thread and bidding on the coin has brought me much boisterous laughter. I am sure I will bid again, and again before the final bell rings. PS Our girl's other auctions have 0 bidders.
is HE ? I think she is a old Lady...Anyway Because of the great photography on the Background. the lot got 3 Bidders and 4 Bids.
I just want to know who, besides kirkuleez, outbid me? That auction is a prize and a half (at least). I think I will have to bid again.
This auction is already AWESOME, but I think it would be even gooder if the price had another digit or two. There are three days left. Should I place my bid early, or snipe it? Muhahahaha! I guess the first step is to get one extra digit on it! C'mon, someone out there bid $10. My max bid is currently $10.50... ETA: When I win this coin, I'm going to put it in a frame along with the photo from the auction.
I will more than likely be putting in a bid tomorrow. Should I win, I am hoping the seller will send me an autopgraphed picture suitable for framing.
I hope one of you bidders win, heck it's worth the few dollars just for the laughs I got. Looks like this is his first sale, win-win.
I see this inspirational story the basis of a movie. Maybe us cointalkers can play extras or even bit parts.
Come on, it's only at $7.00. Surely there are others out there who can't wait to get in on the bidding for this prize specimen?
