    The "first strike" is on 19 November, and I suppose that the plain vanilla version (€5 copper, silver-plated, available at face) can be had right after that ceremony. There will also be a coin card, a surcharged silver €5 coin and a surcharged gold €10 piece; those can be ordered now (see here) and will be available in mid-Nov too. The mint ships to customers in the European Union; others need to contact their distributors or dealers ...

    Could buy one for you, sure. But that would mean shipping from here ($$$) or waiting until May. ;) You have some time to think about the two options ... Maybe getting it from a dealer in the US would be easier?
