Thanks in advance!

I don’t see it until I look at the 5th photo. Is this the same nickel?

Yes on everything I love these are all photos of the exact same nickel that’s why I’m having trouble determining

The first photo shows some doubling on the 4 and the 3 then the last few show the hook

It’s a bit of a worn example is another reason I think I’m having trouble, I think it’d grade in high 30’s, low 40’s

I think it's an anomaly on the field. It looks different in distinct angles and lighting.

This is what one of mine looks like. They have a sharp hook on the lower portion of the 3. I looked at yours again and I don’t think so. One photo makes it look like damage and the metal had been pushed to give it that look.

Yes it does. I saw your post after I replied. In the sixth photo from the bottom it looks like it took a small hit but in the photo above that you can’t see anything really.

Out of curiosity is the doubling on the 4 and 3 anything or just machine doubling? 9 looks like it might have a little in the middle too

I’m not really seeing anything to indicate a doubled die.

It looks very much like the photo in the Red Book. Nice find!

No over date mint mark placement doesn't match .

Yeah realized it wasn’t the overdate, I think there is some doubling on the obverse though
