I think I have finally perfected the display of my OFECs. It's organized in regime date order within an alphabetical array of countries. With more than 400 monetary regimes represented, it's growing rather slowly, and with each letter of the alphabet starting on a new page, it's relatively easy to update the backing sheets to incorporate new additions. The 2x2 album pages with their backing sheets describing each coin are in 1/2-inch binders which nicely accommodate the thickness of eight pages, The backers are attached with Scotch tape at the left edge, so the reverses can be easily viewed. Next step? I haven't decided whether to transfer all of the coins to clean 2x2s with no markings, or to devise a uniform marking scheme and apply it to all the coins. What do you guys think would look nicer?
If the information on the 2x2 holder is accurate (and the flip does not look shabby ), I would not take the coin out. Sure, the hand-written texts look different on each flip, but that would not bother me. Ultimately it is up to you, of course ... Christian
