I just bought this coin. The seller doesn't know
it's origin and neither do I. In the photo on the
    right I believe I see the ending letters "A N G"
    for maybe England?
Maybe some sort of old souvenir/token type
coin? Thanks in advance for any help given :)

I don't recognize it as being a coin, but I'm reasonably certain it's French in origin given the design. My guess is it's a jeton of some kind. No idea on value, but most jetons have little if any value.

If anyone is interested in this type coin, I found this
    site also...http://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces16260.html
According to further info that DCH kindly provided, this type coin
was minted between 1710 and 1712. I know the date and mint
mark are nearly unreadable but on the date side, does anyone else see
what looks like a partial 2? And on the mint mark side does anyone
else see that partial top and right side of the & mint mark?
Just trying to make an uneducated guess of the coin's possible
date and mint mark for when I resell it. Thanks again for your help.
    resell it.
