My recent African acquisitions

Yeah, you have a lot of neat coins in that collection.

I basically have two types of coins in my collection: Those that I actively seek out and those that I buy if I come across them. Right now all the African coins are in the second category. Maybe someday they'll move up, but I'm already way too spread out in the coins I'm targeting and I need to set some limits.

Thanks. I've been trying to figure out how to get back to that coin shop. I moved a little bit from the area, but I need to get back there because they have a good combination of nice foreign coins and a desire to get rid of those foreign coins at low cost. I'm thinking of taking a day off of work just to make that trip.

HD, I noticed you don't have any albums on your page. You should create a few. I'd really like to see some of the coins you have considering both of us have similar tastes and budgets. :yes:

 

I do intend to someday. The idea of scanning dozens of coins is such a daunting concept though. I'll try to do that soon.
