It is possible because they probably started making them in the summer of 1912.

Fake penny? Looks more like a dime to me, btw, I found a fake penny in a nickel roll once

    Yes I meant dime. Hehehe...

They were from N.F. String & Son rolls.

Finished going through my two boxes of pennies.

    Box 1:
    9 wheat: 38, 41, 44x2, 45, 50, 52, 53d, 56d
    8 canadian: 63, 87, 95, 98, 99, 01, 02
    3 "s' mint
    15 "09"
    683 copper

    Box2:
    10 wheat: 19x3 (though 2 were pretty bad), 45, 46d, 47, 52, 53d, 56d, 57d
    8 canadian: 60, 61, 66, 73, 80, 81, 83, 87
    1 Bahama's penny
    3 "s' mint
    16 "09"
    570 copper

Not too bad. I'm hoping the hurricane doesn't screw up my pick up for this week.

I only got one box this week which was probably a good thing since I barely had time to get through it all.

    13 Wheat: 34, 36, 42, 44Dx2, 48, 49, 51, 52D, 53, 56, 57, 58
    5 Canadian: 60, 78, 02x2, 06
    4 "S" mint
    8 "09"s
1 1978 with "ND" and the outline of the state counter-stamped on it.
    624 copper

Also went through $30 in nickels and pulled 2 war nickels and a St. Jude's Children's Hospital token.

I've had some better finds, I suppose, but was So Taken with this one - A near-perfect 1930 I found in a roll of unsearched wheats last week. The pictures don't do justice to it - what I love is ( I don't know exact terminology, so I will call it) the strike line from the forehead to beard is So Strong, it looks like a drawn-on outline - and the eye detail is also strong and amazing.

What do you think of this? Is this a cent stamped on one side and able to see reverse on other side? Or is this some other type error? Thanks for the input.
