Even though it is ultra rare, the Cherrypickers' Guide, Vol. 1, Ed. 5, pg. 158, lists it at $25.00 in AU50.
I say hold on to it unless you can get a much better than book price for it. Again, it is an ultra rare coin (as you can see by the posts), but apparently, the market for that coin may only be a few hundred people.
Unless it is a typo, the book says 5-8 are known (there could be many in numismatic hand that are unknown, who knows?) to exist and in AU50, it books at $25.00. At MS60 - $35.00 and MS65 - $75.00. Same thing for the 1994 DDR of which only 3-4 are known to exist.
I'm almost certain it is a typo in the CPG, considering that an AU53 example sold in '08 at TT for $3,000.
First thing you need to do is get that sucker into a slab. PCGS or NGC. Once the grade comes in on it, value can be assessed.
