    from wiki:
    8.4 g
0.9146 (meaning it contained 7.7 g of gold)

How much might it be worth? Thanks

That one looks like a plated fake - so nothing.

$1000.00 to $5000.00 or more mintage how many are still around is the Key
I am just guessing 1st we have to make sure it a real one + what it will grade + how rare this coin could be Ect.

Looks OK to me and the weight/dimensions are right.
There is considerable wear on the obverse.
As long as it hasn't got mount marks on the rim(solder) it might fetch £400/£450.
George 111 currency spades are priced very closely.
    nice coin:)

The stats the OP gives are not his coin, but from the wikipedia article.

It's fairly difficult to tell if most coins are fake from pics. Some you can tell right off the bat. On this one the suspect area is George's head where it looks like copper or at least something other than gold is on the worn area. Is the coin real? Have you had any tests done besides weight?

The only faked date of the series I am aware of is 1798.
    The proof will be weight.
Many people think they have a spade guinea when it is a brass gaming token of about half the weight.

I don't own the coin, but it's stated that it weighs ~8g. It can be bought for $630, which means it roughly carries a 50% premium on it's gold value. The wear is unfortunate. I also had some doubts about genuineness. Gonna take a pass, but they are interesting coins. Thanks for all inputs.
