AND it's got a STAR! $1 FRN # G 00011968 * Series 2001 from change. Probably grades Very Good - Fine according to this site Replaces H 01923633 * Series 1999 and D 00120094 B Series 2001 as lowest serial number in my 5 note "collection". Anybody else collect from circulation? How low can you go?
i pull notes from my vending machines as well as coins. i actualy use the money from selling the notes i find to finance my coin habit!!! here is the lowest i have ever found. i think it sold for 20 bucks or so i can not remember. happy hunting, michael
I have got a banknote from New Zealand with an extremely low serial number - 0000009,which was issued with a certificate at the 1990 Numismatic Convention. It is a $1 Brash. The lowest number that I have had in change is 01 000400.It is a $5 Brash plastic that was taken from a set that had been split up.The plastic notes are dated - as the '01' is the code for '2001'. Aidan.
And I thought my second favorite '76 $2 USD was cool!! AU+, just those darned bends in the middle! (my first fav is another Boston note, with a postal stamp from NH Apr 13 '76)
Karrlot, what denomination is shown in your avatar? whatever it is,& its condition,it is still a very desireable item. Aidan.
Its a $1. Its at the safety deposit box so I don't know what year, but its from the 80's. I had it folded up in my wallet for years before I knew that it was worth anything, so it is pretty limp. Out of all of my coins and the few bills I have it is my favorite thing. I think because I found it myself from circulation.
