This medal is in BU condition. Illinois 1968. But there are problems with the rims. However if you look at the details, I can't see how this is PMD, I can't see it how it would happen. A tool like a wire cutter or pliers would make a blunt impression in the metal, but where it looks like it tried to get cut, there is amazing detail there. Then look at these little pocks. I'm almost certain this happened during the minting process, but how?
