I've been super busy lately, and havn't posted in in this thread for 11 days. I don't have time to read all the posts since 10/7........if there have been any big finds, please someone either reply or pm me the date or post number so I can read it and drool! :)

My searches during the last 11 days....Modest, but consistently productive :)

    Halves:
    Box 1 - 1 40%er and 1 1945 Walker :D
    Box 2 - Skunk
    Box 3 - 4 40%ers (3 in one roll....weird)
    $35 in Loose - 2 40%ers

    Dimes:
    $220 in BWR and CWR - 2 Roosies, a 51 and a 61

    Nickels:
    Box - 3 War nicks :)

Like I said, modest, but I'll take it. :)

That's the 3rd time I've managed to bring silver home from the city. I'm think I need to move closer to Boston! ;)

I had good luck in Boston the one time I searched there. I hit up all the bank on the strip near the Convention Center and Fenway Park. I got $400 BWR from a Citizens Bank. 4 x 40%, they just had them in the vault I guess or someone did not come and get a box. I didn't even have an account and they did not ask, it was all good.

My second box of halves last night was a skunk like the first. Rinse and repeat.
I'm going to drop off $500 at a local BoA, see if they will start ordering me some dimes since they will be seeing alot less of my half dumps if any. Relationships built over months like this come with perks. I could be totally wrong and they could deny me but I'll let you all know. Of course if they are not willing to order dimes, I'll continue to bring all my halves there.

That's sorta how it went down for me yesterday. I called ahead and the teller said they were just sitting in their cash vault. He was so excited to get rid of them all. Of course I said to myself "I have NO PROBLEMS (hopefully) taking silver off your hands!" :D

While I was working yesturday we had about 3 rolls of pennies in the register so of course I looked. Got 50 copper pennies and 3 wheats. Not to bad considerering I just decided to take a look and wasn't exactly roll hunting.

Box of Nickels ($100) :: nothing other than the usual handful of pre 1960 (and some 2009's)

CRHing out of the box: I was in the supply room at work this morning getting some office supplies and noticed a stack of promotional bookmarks the business has. Affixed to each bookmark was a single dime. Well then... can't leave that alone! A quick flip through the stack of about 100 bookmarks revealed a single white edge. I replaced the silver '64 with a dime from my desk drawer - another roosie saved from circulation!
