In response to Valente, I thought it was wear that is the sole factor that differentiates a coin being AU 55 from MS62, not the luster.
It was given a MS62 by ANACS. I've been thinking about submitting it to PCGS to get it reholdered. Do you think I'd have any problems getting it into a PCGS holder as a MS62? I don't have any experience with either company.
I would leave it AS IS unless you really feel good about the coin. I was almost going to give it an MS grade, but I am not PCGS. I think PCGS is a bit conservative in grading compared tom other TPG's.
:thumb:Nice 1859-P if Anacs gave a grade of MS-62. I would not waste $$$ to send it to Pcgs+ save your money + try to find a diffrent date already graded by Pcgs. That is what I would do :thumb: your 1859 its great looking seated Quarter
