Lovely example of the Bicentennial quarter. Those were quaint days for commemorative collectors back then.
Illini420; Thanks for sharing the story of the Chicago fire. I was aware of the medal before as I have seen it in auction catalogs and I want to congratulate you on this historical relic that you have added to your collection. It is way cool being in the original box even with the scratches on the reverse.
Cremebule; That '51 toner is a stunner to say the least. I've never seen toning like that before and want to congratulate you on your newest acquisition to your collection!
Thanks! We'll see who they play, but I have a good feeling about it. When your starters give up 2 runs in 4 games against the Yankees....
No, I don't have it in hand...and you're probably right. This is why you should log off eBay after the second Jack&Coke!
Well, not too much special here... a lot of stuff I sent in for regrades, figured I'd get TrueViews done on them. Only one upgrade, the '71 Jefferson. I don't have my Heritage winnings imaged and don't have Heritages images put together yet, but they are a killer group of coins (e.g. Finest Liberty Nickel Proof, PR67DCAM) and so on Meanwhile...
