What is the latest edition of the GUIDE TO US PAPER MONEY BY Friedberg?
I have bought two, and they do not list numbers for the 1994L $5 COIN, AND CURRENCY NOTE.
    Thank you.

What is that? Friedberg only deals with paper currency.

    rickmp Frequently flatulent.

Friedberg does not number coins, only notes. You have the right FR# for the note. Is the note not listed in the newest book?

  5. I think the newest Friedberg book is the 19 th. edition, it would have just about everything you need to know about US Paper Money, but not coins, it's a US Paper Money book.

Friedberg did write a book that is labeled and marketed under the Redbook brand. It is a "lighter" version of his classic work. The latest of the Redbook-labeled book, "A Guide Book of United States Paper Money," is the 3rd edition from 2010. It can be ID'd because it is the only such edition that has color photos and illustrations throughout. (Friedberg's classic work is called "Paper Money of the United States for comparison).

Check the name of your book, and whether it is a Redbook-labeled book, and if so the 3rd edition is current.
