Just wanted to ask what constitutes a "dropped digit"? the last two digits on the left hand s# are lower than the rest, while the second to last digit is lower on the right hand s#. Is that considered an error? Then I just wanted to share this low # note I got.

I'm not a note professional but I don't think this would be considered much of a error or given to much of a premium, but we will see what others have to say!

And nice low serial number got a few of those, and I would say they are worth to hang on too.

To have a premium, a portion of the digit must be missing or it should have a portion of two digits showing.

To some, at least four leading zeros is considered a low serial. To purists, five leading zeros.

IMHO, a note really needs five leading zeroes to be a low serial. From my experience, most collectors stick to that.

What about this serial did you think made it a low serial?

Thank you Clay that was very helpful.

Camaro I just figured it's under 10,000 for that run. Four zeros is the best I've found in circ.

I was looking only at the first note...I didn't see the last photo was a different note. My bad.
