They are "flipper" notes. Serial number 09098100 flipped is 00186060, 19808010 flipped is 01080861, and 00086966 flipped is 99698000.
Never heard of a flipper note. Could someone explain? I know about radar notes, binaries, etc. but never a flipper. Wait, I think I see it now. The numbers make when flipped are still numbers. Does a 2 work for a 5?
it only works for 0 1 6 8 9 according to the panix website someone showed me. just started looking so i like a confirmation on my first one. http://www.panix.com/~clay/currency/glossary.html
lol i have never even heard of flipper notes. been collecting currency for a while now. sounds like a ploy to sell worthless notes :thumb:
I do not really collect notes, but I have been doing some research on them just to know what to look out for on bills. The only ones I really save are the low serials, binarys and repeaters.
i have posted this that i got today on the 777 note and another thread, but i keep seeing things pop up so in reference to this bill so i may as well do it here now too. ( sorry, over excited about something new) lucky 7 trinary?
I'm inclined to agree with Steve on this one. For myself and some others, "low" starts with 4 leading zeroes, and for other collectors, it starts with 5 leading zeroes. 3 leading zeroes is not low at all.
I agree 150 %, some will dream up most anything just to make a fast buck on worthless items. Bill Collector
