I stand in awe of such a complex laboratory, my wife would KILL me if I absconded with one of the towels and two of her bowls

I see what appears to be a beard/moustache trimmer on the right side of the photo.Do I dare ask what it really is and what it's function in this complex process is?
By the way,the Z is due S.E. of the A on your keyboard,but ground aero does have a certain ring to it .......LOL..JK
