Sounds like it's time for me to unload a few rolls of them. :) I think I have 4-5 spare rolls I accumulated from roll searching.

1987 - My favorite find in all of my searching. This puppy is PL and rainbow toned. When I poured the roll out this thing stuck out like the proverbial sore thumb. At first I thought it was a proof as I've found a few.......nope, even better, it was this badboy. :D

I would say so, then invest in more rolls and do the same.

    That 1987 is beautiful.

The 1987 and 87D are nice coins. I'd go 68+, bordering 69. Given those grades, I would have thought PCGS had graded them (I usually find PCGS a bit on the conservative side compared to NGC).

1988 - The only pic I found on my PC, nicely colored roll find.

1988's are VERY tough to find without excessive die polish lines. I think the mint workers repolished them every 1000 coins. LOL

Hey BadThad. Here is a picture of the reverse of my MS68RD 1985D that you said should have been prooflike. Here is another reverse off a coin that did receive a PL designation. i really don't see a lot of difference, do you?

That is definitely puurrtty! A few lines, but really nice frost.

Difficult to judge using pictures. PL implies mirrored surface and that special proof luster.....tough to see in a picture.
