    I have been dabbling in the darkside for a litle while and am looking for some more info for coins from Britian like design changes mintages basically is there a resource like the redbook for british coins

    Peter Rayner published a small book in 1954 titled, "The Designers and Engravers of the English Milled Coinage 1662-1953". It only has 26 pages and no references just a general bibliography. However like everything produced by Rayner it is concise but very good.

    Copies can still be obtained second hand, mine cost me £3 sterling just a couple of years ago.
