What might be happening is someone was tired of losing to you and raised the amount of their proxy bid.

An easy way to put coins in an album.
Place the coin over the hole.
Place half of a 2x2 over the coin and press at the rims.
It's fast and keeps your fingers off the face of the coin.

Thanks! That is a very good idea.

I decided to not go with littleton for the Roosevelt dime album, because of the additional 39 S Proof coins I would need.

....and this is what intercept shield says:
Spaces for proof-only S-mint issues beginning in 1968 are included. Beginning in 1992, spaces for both Clad and Silver proof coins are included. Spaces are provided for 2002-P, 2002-D and a single 2002-S proof.

So....looks like my choice will be dansco.

Be careful buying Dansco. They make both albums, with or without proofs. Hate to see you buy the wrong one. Glad you don't want to do the proofs. It's not good putting proofs in albums.
