Just showing off the coins that I used to have in my collection, now in other's hands due to unemployment. These are from a couple years ago.

Sorry to hear that, at least you still have the pics, but, I bet you will get unkind words from, I am sorry to say this, but from the people who greatly dislike you, I get those words to

I used to have lots and lots of silver rounds and bars, I sold them all when silver was nearing 50 last year. I miss em. Do you miss your old coins and bullion also?

What unkind words could be said? Its better to have a roof over your head and no coins than coins and no roof. Its tough to keep bad toning away from the silver when you live in the alley behind the Quincy Street bus stop.

If anything, now you have a goal for the future.

P.S. - What on earth happened to that 1928 Peace Dollar? Was it buried in sand?

I am not sure looking at pics of the past, of something that had to be liquidated, is a fun thing to do. However, there is always the future.

Sometimes you just have to man up and do what needs to be done. I've been out of work before and had to sell off parts of my collection to keep afloat. My plan has always been to replace the lost coins with better grade pieces. We can't be poor forever!!

I'm sorry Detecto. That's rough. Times will get better; just keep pushing.

I highly doubt anyone here will give the OP "unkind words" over a thread about coins he once owned. Also, as for people supposedly "greatly disliking" him, I believe you are way off base. Not liking and/or disagreeing with what the OP does or says does not necessarily mean anyone here dislikes him.

Really? It looks to me as if many kind and generous people have gone out of their way to try and help him. Can you really blame someone for growing tired of having their advice met with constant excuses? Keep in mind that many are much more familiar with the D-Show than you, so the kid gloves came off long ago.
