Help with the grade of a coin

    Hello,

    Like a lot of people, I have some problems picking out the subtle details between the different grades. I was hoping that you guys could help give me a ball park estimate on the grade of this coin.

    1921 is one of the most common dates. It looks EF, but seen some circulation in its day.

    Tough to tell from the images, but AU-55 seems rite.

    Ya it is an AU...I would say 50 or 53. Looks like it might be cleaned but it could just be the pictures..

    The coin has not been cleaned, the picture just makes it look like it. There is a light just overhead of where I took the picture hoping that it would show more of the detail on the coin.

    Yeah I figured it might be the lighting..I'll stick with AU53
