Ok, here I have three Standing Liberty Quarters. First is 1926 and the other two are 1927. I don't see a mint mark on them anywhere. I show their value about $9.00 with this quality. What do you guys think. I am trying to figure out if I am looking at the right things and valuing the coins right. THANKS
I don't think those would carry much of a premium above melt. I think you'd have a hard time getting $9 for them most places.
I'll take 'em off your hands for free if you don't want 'em.... At any rate: yeah just worth melt. Still pretty coins though.
I have similar coin to those I bought on Ebay for melt. I have VG coins that are a little better than those that I got for $6.50-$7 when melt was $6. I have seen them trying to be sold for twice that but they are trying to sell them for that but will probably not get it unless they find a sucker that doesn't know anything.
Melt value. Which today is $6.05. Here's a good silver melt value link for US coins. http://www.silvercoinstoday.com/silver-calculators/us-silver-coin-calculator/
