I sold a friends coin on eBay for $107 that wasn't cleaned, it was in very good condition. This is where i got my first morgan too.

Ok, so curious as to why you feel it had a harsh cleaning in the past. I have no idea if it has or not, the coins have been sitting in a box for the last 6 years or so and before that they were my grandfather's who bought them and I can't see him cleaning them. What is it that makes you say it has been cleaned vrs just sitting around or in a box with other coins.

After seeing thousands of old coins, certain things just really stand out. There are hairlines that are on the obverse of the coin and you can see that around the devices, it is much darker than in the fields. These are the most common markers for cleaned coins. We don't mean to be overly critical of your coin, just being honest in what we see. There is no reason not to be proud of that Morgan.
