Besides eBay. Most of the coin shops I see online either sell really expensive coins, junk silver, or slabbed. Does anyone know of a site that sells just plain uncircualted silver coins each?
Most online price guides list BU rosies between $3.40 and $3.90, however most eBay sellers want $4.50 on up.
I really like http://www.gainesvillecoins.com/ they have very good prices and their shipping seems to be better than apmex.com the times I have made orders. I hope this helps.
Are you looking for a few individual coins, or in bulk? It is not that difficult to find generic unc silver dimes, but you might have to put a little more effort into it than clicking a mouse.
All of these places wanted at least $4.95 for BU Roosevelt dimes. The Numismedia price guide lists common year silver rosies at around $3.45-$3.75 each.
less than 4 bucks right here if you want the whole role.http://www.mintproducts.com/1960s-bank-wrapped-silver-dimes-rolls.html
Right, I had some shiny, newer looking roosies I found in circulation, I listed them on Ebay starting at melt. They are common as dirt. Just because someone charges something online for a given amount doesn't mean that is what is worth. It also doesn't mean it ever will sell either. I have experimented with selling them on Ebay, and most just want to pay melt, no matter what the condition is unless it is proof. Some things are good to buy online but others are better off bought at a coin shop or PM shop.
I already responded to you in another thread with this info. If you are looking for single BU silver (or clad) Roosevelt dimes for around $3 silver (much less for clad), check out coinshop.com. You will have to bid but shipping is free. Can you at least acknowledge that you read this so I do not have to keep typing the same info. :smile TC BTW: I have bid and won a lot of silver BU and proof dimes on this site for less then $3 and shipped free. You just have to wait until the come up for auction. The BU clad dimes are always available for bid and typically end at opening bid.
I don't get how shipping can be free, if a coin has a bid of 48 cents, the postage alone would make that a bad deal.
Oops sorry. They have a number of silver proof dimes listed right now for just slightly above $3. Three of them gives you the $10 to ship free. I do not see any BU silver dimes at the moment but they will pop up. Plenty of clad dimes handpicked from mint sets for the later part of your dime album. Have fun. TC
